So many Yin yoga teachers have told us they don’t know what to say once they get their students in a pose. Sitting at the front of the room with all that space, when it’s so quiet, and our students seem to be really listening can feel pretty darn intimidating. They feel pressure to say wise and insightful things, so often end up spending an inordinate amount of (unpaid) time preparing their class plans (especially what they want to say). Over time, this approach can cut us off from the source of our inspiration, sap our energy and lead to burnout. In this YIN II Advanced Teacher Training you’ll tap into the wellspring of wisdom readily waiting for you at any given moment so you can easefully and spontaneously deliver inspired and inspiring Yin classes.

 In YIN INSPIRED Advanced Teaching you will:

  • Practice and experience a 90 minute Yin class.

  • Learn to lead an exceptional 60-90 minute Yin class.

  • Evolve and customize the Evoke class framework to reflect your individual style, preferences and interests.

  • Learn to spontaneously generate no-pressure, in-the-moment content for your classes.

  • Differentiate between speaking to the body, speaking meditatively and speaking to spirit with emphasis on trauma-informed speaking.

  • Learn and practice techniques for leading simple yet effective meditation and breath work that can be used in Yin classes or as stand-alones.

  • Learn to teach through reflection and use your day-to-day life experiences as your personal wisdom to potentially share in class.

  • Practice humor by having fun and sharing it.

  • Learn to harness and exercise the power and play inherent in a natural teacher’s voice.

  • Learn to trust yourself as you tap into Source and the intuitive teacher within.

  • Practice teach and receive feedback that informs your future teaching.
